Note: This is the 2nd book in the Monster Smash Agency. While you do not need to read book one to read book 2, were meet them again as friends to our main character.

Review: 3/5
Spicy level: 3/ 5
I loved this book, it just went over the topic amazing. It was in my opinion a quick read. Around 290 pages, I shouldn’t say that, but it grabbed my attention until I finished. I have always been a huge fan of Kathryn Moon’s books. Especially her Omega books, this is different. If you want something like her omega series this is not that.
Hannah, a forced/ bitten werewolf, forced to turn/ go crazy during full moons, is a rising star in a band. She is forced throughout the story to deal with her werewolf half. And find a way to accept her new life, that plans change.
Rafe is our sex worker, in a rough patch. He’s not excited to work like he’s stuck in a rut. He’s kind of coasting through life, taking nightly flights in Chicago to see the sights. He cooks for his friends and eats new/ odd foods.
Hannah has no choice but to go to the Smash agency to help her with her heats, which is where they meet. Rafe accepts her on a deep level from the start, to the point Hannah yearns for their appointments. She has changed the schedule a few times just to see him more. I’m not sure who typically falls first, maybe Rafe but it wasn’t overly apparent. He loves to cook for her and after all isn’t food the way to a person's heart?
Sexy scenes are amazing, four words for you “carved for your pleasure.” Falling for a client at the agency is frowned upon, yet this is the 2nd novel, the 1st novel is where the more severe issues had risen for this. I do find it interesting that the leader/boss of the agency is a succubus and seems to not get too bad when she loses her workers when they find their mates/ leave.
Tropes:
Werewolf, Gargoyle, food love, paid for it, interesting/ fun appendages, fear of strength/hurting others (over power/ too strong), personal growth, learning to demand what you want. Self Growth, Never settle, facing fears. Then you should read this story, honestly read anything by Kathryn Moon.
Amazon Blurb:
Hannah never wanted to be a werewolf. After over thirty years as a human, she finds her new life on the other side of the species line too full of sudden changes. Especially when those changes risk her band's chance at a world tour. Desperate for a way to slake the cravings and soothe the restless anger that arrives every month like clockwork, Hannah takes the advice of a friend and books a night with the Monster Smash Agency.
In spite of being made of stone, Rafe is losing his touch. After years of rough work, he's starting to feel the grind. Sturdy and nearly indestructible, gargoyles can take a lot, but Rafe is pretty sure he can't take losing any more of his clients. Not if he wants to keep his job with MSA.
Hannah and Rafe's partnership ought to be practical, but their chemistry carves a new path. This werewolf is unlike any client Rafe has worked with yet, and he's determined to make her howl his name.
As a huge fan of Kathryn Moon expect more of her books to come. I’ve stalked her on social media and even met her once at the Getting Witchy With It Con. 2023.
